A fibreglass roof is an in-situ, cold applied, high performance, BBA approved GRP (glass reinforced polyester) waterproofing system which can be used to form a waterproof membrane regardless of the size or complexity of the application.  It can be finished in any BS4800 colour and, if required, can be incorporated with an anti-slip finish when used on balconies and walkways.  This is only installed by qualified contractors and is covered by a protected guarantee on both materials and workmanship.

Traditional bitumen based coatings have been used since Roman times and it is a fact that any bitumen based roof will leak as each layer of the roof breaks down and becomes ineffective.

The problem has been solved in the past by either building a pitched roof over an existing flat roof ( a very expensive solution) or by specifying even more expensive materials such as lead or copper sheathing.
